Guilford-Mackintosh Park & Marina is operated by the City of Burlington in conjunction with Guilford County. It is located on Lake Mackintosh in Guilford County.         

Fishing, boating and paddling are allowed at this marina. Only boats with electric trolling motors are allowed to launch from this site. Kayaks, canoes, and row boats are available for rent on-site. Rentals are offered seasonally, so please call ahead to make sure they are available. See below for pricing information. 

The park has two multi-use hiking and bike trails - one that is a 1 mile loop and one that is a 3 mile loop. View the trail map here. Guilford Mackintosh also has an open-air shelter available for rental on a daily basis. There is also a sand volleyball court, horseshoes, and playground available. Guilford-Mackintosh has two areas for bank fishing and a pier with North Carolina Wildlife fish feeders and underwater fish attractors.

Because the lake is the primary water reserve for the City of Burlington, no swimming, wading or personal watercraft is permitted on the lake.

Ages: 1-15 but all children must be accompanied by parent/guardian. 

21st Annual Lori Brady Foster Memorial Kids Bank Fishing in the Park sponsored by Burlington Recreation & Parks. THIS IS NOT A TOURNAMENT, but a great way to spend a fun day fishing with the family. A parent/guardian must accompany their child. Only 1 rod per child is allowed and you must bring your own fishing rod. There will be grab bags, free pizza and drinks for all kids along with drawings for prizes and gift certificates. Please call the marina with questions and to register: 336-449-2078. Space limited to first 100 participants to register. Register by MAY 17.

Park and trails closes 30 minutes prior to gate closing.  All bank fishing and rental boats end 30 minutes prior to closing. No boats allowed to launch 90 minutes prior to closing. In the event of inclement weather, the lake may close early.
Must be 16 or older to rent a City boat. No discounts on kayak or canoe rentals.  Canoe and kayak rentals are not available to Lake Cammack or Stoney Creek. The senior rates apply everyday - including weekends & holidays.

*Kayak and canoe rentals will be available when the water temperature is at least 60 degrees and combined with air temperature to equal 120 degrees. Rentals will stop when temperatures drop below 120 degrees combined.
