[ARCHIVED] Burlington Carousel Festival Returns

Carousel Festival

Having grown to be one of the Southeast’s most renowned and respected event, the Burlington Carousel Festival returns to City Park from September 19-20.

The Dentzel Menagerie Carousel, one of the most historic treasures in Burlington was built around 1910 by the Dentzel Family in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Each year the city comes together to celebrate the Carousel by hosting the annual Carousel Festival. Artists Alley, an area where fine artists and craft exhibitors display and exhibit their work features original Carousel wood carvers as well as paintings and much more. The Children’s area offers families the opportunity to take a ride on the Carousel or one of the other amusement activities that are permanently located in the park. Bring a chair and enjoy the sites and sounds of the local music and entertainment.
