The Sanitation Division of the Public Works Department is located at 206 E. Summit Avenue.  Office hours are Monday through Friday 6:30 A.M. - 4:00 P.M. The Sanitation Superintendent is Danny Scales and can be contacted at (336) 222-5111 or by email at .

 

 

The Sanitation Division provides weekly residential curbside collection of household garbage and other solid waste services. Collection days are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Fridays depending on your area (maps available). Collection begins at 7:00 A.M.

The Sanitation Division is also responsible for street and city parking lot sweeping.
