Design Review Manual
For residents living in the West Burlington or Glencoe Historic Districts, the Design Review Manual is an invaluable resource. In addition to listing the detailed guidelines for performing work on your historic property, the manual also contains information concerning the history and architecture of each district. The manual also describes the application process for a Certificate of Appropriateness and contains a list of work items that can and cannot be performed without such a Certificate.
Each historic district homeowner should possess a copy of this manual. If you live in the West Burlington or Glencoe Historic District and do not have a copy, you may either download one from this page or call the Planning Division at 222-5110 to request a bound version. One free copy is available per homeowner. Additional copies and copies for non-homeowners are $5.00.
